When one of these changes, the memorandum is not rewritten. The partners sign an addendum, also called an amendment, that changes only the part that moved. The addendum is read together with the original memorandum and every addendum before it. That is why the set has to be complete and in order. A company that has traded for some years often has several addenda. [Send the details](https://dubainotaryservices.ae/contact/) ## What the addendum must contain 01 A reference to the original MOA The date of the memorandum and of each earlier addendum. 02 The clause being changed The old wording and the new wording, clearly marked. 03 The parties Every partner who signs, named as in their passports. 04 The company name Exactly as on the trade licence. 05 Signatures of every partner Or of an attorney holding a valid power of attorney. ## Getting the scope right One addendum can record more than one change, but only if every change is clear and agreed. A share transfer and a new manager are often signed together. It is held up because an earlier change was never recorded, so the shares in the new addendum do not match the file. Or the company name is written differently from the licence.
