Ask three providers what notarisation costs in Dubai and the chances are you will get three different numbers, because most of this market quotes a single figure and lets you find out later how much of it was the government’s. We do not work that way. Every invoice we issue carries two lines: our fee, and the Dubai Courts fee, and you are entitled to see which is which before you commit to anything.
We draft corporate and estate documents in Arabic and English and arrange their notarisation before a Dubai Courts notary. We are a document services provider, not a notary and not a law firm.
Two lines on every invoice, never one
Our fee covers drafting in Arabic and English, checking the file against what the receiving authority will accept, establishing who has to attend, and attending the appointment with you. Where a draft already exists, it covers reviewing and repairing it.
The Dubai Courts fee is set by the Courts, not by us. We collect it at the appointment and pass it on at cost. It depends on the instrument and, for some instruments, on the value stated in them.
Anything that happens after notarisation, such as a ministry or embassy step for a document going abroad, is charged by that body, and we tell you what it is before you commit.
What our fee covers
The figure attached to your document is for the work of getting it right before it reaches the notary. That means writing the instrument so it does what you need, checking it against what the receiving bank, registry or counterparty will actually accept, and confirming who has to attend and with what. Most of what goes wrong with a document goes wrong at this stage, in the drafting and the paperwork nobody checked, which is why the reading of a draft before anything is booked costs nothing.
What the Dubai Courts fee covers
This is the part we do not set and do not mark up. It is the Courts’ own charge for the notarial act itself, collected by us at the appointment purely as a convenience so you are not handling two separate payments on the day. It depends on which instrument is being notarised, and for some instruments on a value written into the document, which is one of the reasons quotes for what looks like the same document can differ between clients.
The published fee schedule for corporate and estate instruments
Every figure below is what you pay us for drafting in both languages, checking the file and attending the appointment with you. It runs from a general power of attorney at the lower end to a will covering UAE assets at the upper end, which reflects the work behind each instrument rather than its length. The Dubai Courts fee is separate and passed on at cost.

Every increment above the first line is a government fee, collected and passed on. That is the whole difference between what we charge and what the act itself costs.
What moves the number, and what does not
Four things change our fee: how complex the instrument is, how many signatories are involved, whether we are drafting from nothing or repairing an existing draft, and whether attendance is at our office or at yours.
Four things do not change it: which day of the week it is, whether you first reached us through our contact page or by phone, whether you are a company or an individual, and whether this is your first instruction or your fortieth.
Fees vary with the document
The one honest caveat worth stating plainly: fees vary with the nature of the document and its requirements. The published schedule above covers the corporate and estate instruments most people ask about, and the process we follow to get there is the same one, whatever the document.

Is the first reading of my draft really free?
Yes. Send a draft and you get back which instrument you need, whether it will be accepted, what it will cost and who has to attend. There is no charge and no obligation.
Do you add VAT to the figures above?
Fees are stated as quoted. Ask when you instruct us and the position will be set out in writing before work starts.
What happens if the document is refused after I pay?
If a defect is found before the appointment, we fix it and nobody travels for nothing. If it is refused at the counter, we deal with the reason and rebook. If it is refused afterwards by a bank or registry, we tell you plainly whether the cause was in the drafting, the process, or a requirement nobody could have known.
Can I pay on the day of the appointment?
Yes. We tell you the methods accepted when you book.
Why does a will cost so much more than a power of attorney?
Because it is the instrument where getting it wrong shows up years later, when it cannot be fixed. The fee reflects the work of establishing which registration route applies to you and drafting to it, not the length of the document.
