Every draft, written in Arabic and English
This page lists every corporate and estate instrument we draft, in Arabic and English, and arrange for notarisation before a Dubai Courts notary. Nine of them are common enough to carry a full page of their own. A longer list of the documents we handle regularly, priced at the same published rate as everything else, sits further down this page. If your document is not named anywhere here, send the draft, or describe what has to happen, and we will tell you which instrument it actually is.
Corporate instruments
Seven instruments cover most of what a company needs authorised, decided or constituted. Each card below carries what it is, what we need from you, and the published fee where the schedule states one.
Company Power of attorney in UAE
From AED 1,500
The general instrument by which a company authorises a named individual to act for it. The scope clause is the whole document, and it is the clause most often drafted too widely.

Special power of attorney
From AED 1,500
A single purpose instrument, narrower than a general power, and usually the one accepted first time because the authority granted has an obvious edge to it.

Board resolution
AED 2,000
Records a decision the board has already taken. Dated after the event it authorises, it is defective on its face, and that single defect is the one we catch most often at the reading stage.

Shareholder resolution
Quoted on the draft
Where the decision belongs to the shareholders rather than the board, on matters such as capital, ownership or a change to the memorandum. Getting that distinction wrong is the most common defect we see.

Memorandum of association
AED 600
The constitutional document, amended by addendum every time something structural changes, capital, ownership, activity or management.

Appointment of a general manager

The person named in the constitutional documents is often the one every other signature depends on, which is why an outdated appointment can stall an otherwise ready file.

The drafting is the service
Notarisation itself is thirty minutes with a notary who checks identity and witnesses a signature. Everything that makes a document work happens before that appointment: a scope written to the transaction, the Arabic and English texts checked against each other, the file matched against what the receiving authority will actually accept.

If you hold assets here and have no will covering them, what happens on your death is decided by rules you did not choose. Writing one is the only way to choose instead.

Proving who the heirs are, appointing someone to act, releasing what is held, and transferring shares the deceased owned. Rarely one document, usually a short sequence of them.

Which grid you need
Corporate instruments run a company. Estate instruments run what happens to a person’s assets. Most enquiries are one or the other, so find your category above and start from the card that matches, not the one whose name sounds closest to what you have heard.
What we do not do
We draft and check corporate and estate instruments, and we arrange and attend notarisation before a Dubai Courts notary. We do not litigate, give tax advice, issue a trade licence, or process a visa. Where your situation needs one of those, we say so plainly and point you toward who handles it, a lawyer for a dispute, an accountant for a tax question, a PRO or formation agent for licensing.

Before you send a draft
Have your trade licence, your current memorandum and every amendment to it, and a passport or Emirates ID for everyone who has to sign. Most wasted trips trace back to one of these three being out of date or missing.

We read your file against what the receiving authority will actually accept, not just against a template. The Arabic and English texts are written together and checked against each other, and the appointment is booked and attended for you.

We can still check a draft you already have and arrange the notarisation. We will tell you plainly if something in it will be refused, before you pay for an appointment to find that out.
Mainland
A mainland company’s documents generally sit with Dubai Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Land Department alongside Dubai Courts notarisation. The trade licence and the memorandum are the two documents every instrument gets checked against.
Free zone
A free zone company answers to its own authority as well, DIFC or DMCC among them. That authority can want its own format or its own registrar step in addition to the Dubai Courts notarisation. We confirm which before we draft, not after.
When a signatory is outside the UAE
A shareholder or director abroad does not always have to fly in. Depending on the instrument, they can sign before a UAE embassy or consulate where they are and have that signature legalised for use here, or grant a power of attorney to someone in Dubai to sign in their place, if the instrument allows delegation.

Questions about the services
Is the first reading of my draft really free?
Yes. Send it and you will get back which instrument it is, whether it will be accepted, what it costs and who has to attend. There is no charge for this stage, and no obligation to instruct us afterwards.
Do you notarise the document yourselves?
No. We draft it, check it, and arrange and attend the appointment before a Dubai Courts notary. The notarial act, checking identity and witnessing the signature, is the notary’s, not ours. Saying otherwise is exactly the overclaim this page is written to avoid.
What if my document is not one of the nine listed?
Send it, or describe what has to happen. Most instruments outside the nine fall under the published schedule further up this page, priced the same way. If yours genuinely does not fit anywhere on this page, we will tell you plainly rather than force it into the nearest category.
Can everything be drafted in English only?
Corporate instruments generally need an Arabic text for the receiving authority, alongside the English. We draft both languages together, not one translated after the other, so the two versions cannot drift apart on the point that actually matters.
Do I have to be in Dubai for the whole process?
No. The drafting can be done at a distance, and depending on the instrument a signatory abroad has options too, an embassy signature or a power of attorney to someone here. Only the notarisation appointment itself needs someone physically in front of the notary.
