One office drafts it, checks it and notarises it

We read your draft, write it in Arabic and English, check it against what the receiving authority will accept, and our in-house notary public notarises it. Most of what decides whether a document is accepted happens before the notary ever sees it.

One point of contact

The same person from your first message to the signing.

Both texts written at the same time, not translated afterwards.

How it works

Four steps from your draft to the notarised document. There is no charge for the reading and the quote, and no obligation.

01

Send the draft

On WhatsApp or by email. No draft? Describe what has to happen and we write it from your description.

02

We read it and quote No charge

Which instrument you need, whether it will be accepted, what it costs, and who has to attend.

03

We draft in both languages

Arabic and English written together, not translated afterwards, with the same fixed vocabulary.

04

You sign, we notarise it

At our office, by video call or at your home. Our in-house notary public notarises the document.

Start with step one. It costs nothing.

Published fees

Fees may vary with the document; we confirm the figure before you sign.

What changes the price

Fees vary based on the document’s nature and its requirements, and advocate attestation charges may also vary.

01

The nature of the document

A power of attorney, a resolution and a will are different instruments, and each has its own fee.

02

What it requires

Who has to sign, how many parties there are, and what has to sit behind the signature.

03

Advocate attestation charges

Where a document needs advocate attestation, that charge may vary as well.

Ask before you assume a figure applies to your document.

Notarised, attested, legalised: three different acts

Three words often used as if they meant the same thing. They do not, and the difference decides what your document still needs.

Notarised

A person signs in front of the notary, who confirms who they are and attests to the signing.

What is certified is the signing itself, not the truth of what the document says.

Attested

Confirms that a document or signature is genuine, so that another authority will accept it.

Not the same word, and not the same act, as notarisation.

Legalised

The chain of confirmations a document needs before a foreign country will rely on it, usually a ministry and a diplomatic mission.

Happens after notarisation, not instead of it.

Certified true copy. A copy confirmed as matching the original.

Office windows, late in the evening

Company documents, drafted for the registry that will read them

A bank or a registry reads the scope clause, the date and the authority. We check all three before the document reaches the notary.

Fees may vary with the document; we confirm the figure before you sign.

Corporate signings, on your schedule

  • We bring every signatory together in one appointment, where that is possible.
  • Where it is not possible, we tell you in advance.
  • Where a signatory cannot attend, we work out whether a power of attorney solves it before the day arrives.

Every signatory in one appointment where that is possible, and advance notice when it is not.

Shareholders in different countries?

Usually manageable with powers of attorney granted in advance, each drafted to cover exactly the acts needed.

Wills and estate documents

A will from another country is not assumed to cover UAE assets, and which registration route applies depends on your circumstances. Tell us what you hold and we tell you what it takes.

Will covering UAE assets

AED 4,000

Bring property documents, IDs and passports, and guardianship instructions where children are involved.

Estate and inheritance documents

Quoted on the draft

Proving heirs, appointing someone to act, and releasing what is held. Each bank and registry has its own document set.

Power of attorney for estate administration

Quoted on the draft

Lets one person deal with the file while heirs are abroad.

Fees may vary with the document; we confirm the figure before you sign.

General or special power of attorney?

The scope decides whether the receiving party accepts it. Here is the difference, in plain words.

Broad authority

General

Broad authority to act. It sounds more complete, but an open ended scope is the most common reason a corporate document is refused by a bank or a registry.

  • ScopeOpen ended
  • Watch forRefusal by a bank or a registry
  • Our feefrom AED 1,500

or

Named acts

Special

Authority to do named things. Slower to draft and faster to use, because nobody receiving it has to guess what it allows.

  • ScopeOnly the acts it names
  • DraftingSlower to draft, faster to use
  • Our feefrom AED 1,500

Not sure? Send the draft and we tell you which one the receiving party will accept.

Every kind of power of attorney

From one vehicle to a company in liquidation. Choose the one you need, or describe the act and we name the instrument.

Arabic and English, drafted together

Many receiving authorities require Arabic. We draft in both languages as standard.

  • Both texts are written together, not translated afterwards.
  • A clause added late cannot exist in one language and not the other.
  • The vocabulary is fixed, and does not drift from page three to page seven.

What we need from you before we draft

For a company file. Send what you have, and we tell you what is missing.

01

The trade licence

Currently valid. An expired licence stops the file.

02

The memorandum of association and every amendment

Bringing it without its amendments is the most common gap.

03

Passport and Emirates ID of everyone signing

Originals, checked at the appointment.

04

Evidence that the signatory has authority

Usually the memorandum, sometimes a prior resolution.

05

The instrument itself, in draft

If you have one. If not, describe what has to happen.

06

Any translation already obtained

Checked before the appointment rather than after.

07

The company’s full legal name

Exactly as licensed. A name that drifts between documents stops the file.

08

What the instrument has to achieve

A description in your own words.

09

Any prior power of attorney the signatory relies on

So we can check it permits what is being attempted.

10

Contact details for every party who has to sign

So the appointment can be arranged with everyone.

No draft yet? Describe what has to happen and we write it from your description.

What to bring to the appointment

Copies are not a substitute for originals at the counter.

  • Original passport and Emirates IDFor every signatory
  • The trade licence, current and validFor company documents
  • The memorandum of association with every amendment, in sequenceFor company documents
  • The document itselfIn the form we agreed

Call first if you are unsure. It is a shorter conversation than a wasted trip.

  • The reading and the quote

Questions we are actually asked

Short answers. If yours is not here, ask it on WhatsApp and we reply within 10 minutes.

Do you notarise the document yourselves?

Yes. Our in-house notary public checks identity, witnesses the signing and notarises your document at our Business Bay office, online or on a home visit. Before that, we draft the document and check it against what the receiving authority will accept.

Can someone sign for my company while I am abroad?

Often yes, through a power of attorney granted in advance. You can grant it from outside the UAE by online notarisation with our in-house notary public, who checks your identity and witnesses the signing by video. Which instrument, and whether the notary requires you personally, depends on the document. Tell us what has to happen and the dates, and we will establish it before anybody books travel.

Does the document have to be in Arabic?

Many receiving authorities require it. We draft in both languages as standard, written together rather than translated afterwards.

How long does it take?

The reading and the drafting are the part we control. The appointment depends on the notary’s diary, and any step after it depends on the registry or the receiving party involved.

What does it cost?

Our fees are published. The official Dubai Courts fee is added to your quote at cost, with no mark-up, on its own line so you can see which money is ours.

Can you fix a draft somebody else wrote?

Yes, and most of the corporate work that reaches us is exactly that: a counterparty’s draft, or a template from another jurisdiction that needs to be made to work here.

What happens if the document is refused?

We find out why and tell you plainly whether it was the drafting, the process, or a requirement nobody could have known about in advance, then we fix what can be fixed and rebook.

What if our shareholders are in different countries?

Usually manageable with powers of attorney granted in advance, each drafted to cover exactly the acts needed.

Do my original documents come back to me?

For the reading, you keep your originals and send a scan or a photograph. At the appointment, originals are shown to the notary and returned to you afterwards.

Can it be done by video call?

Online notary public services are available by live video call. Tell us the document and we confirm whether it can be done online before you book.

Do you come to my home?

Yes, home visit notary services across the UAE. Tell us where and when, and who has to sign.

A band is fine. A guessed date is worse than no date.
In the UAE, at a named bank or registry, or in another country. This changes what has to happen after notarisation.

Only if you would rather be called. We will reply by email otherwise.

Please do not send identity document numbers through this form.

Rather talk it through?
