What we actually do
A corporate or estate document has two jobs. It has to say the right thing, precisely, in the language the receiving authority requires, and it has to be executed in a way that gives it standing, which in Dubai means being signed before a notary who attests to the signing. We do the first job and we arrange the second. We read the draft you have, or write the one you do not. We check it against what the bank, the registry or the counterparty will actually accept. We establish who has to attend and what they have to bring, we book the appointment, and we are in the room. When the notarial act is done, we deal with whatever has to happen next.

Whether a bank, a registry or a foreign authority accepts your document is their decision. What we can do is make sure they have no reason to refuse it.

Why we say “not a notary” so often
Because in this market a lot of companies imply that they are, and the implication carries a legal risk we are not prepared to take on your behalf. A notary in Dubai is an official who attests to the act of signing: that the person is who they claim to be, that they signed in front of the notary, and on that date. Only a notary can perform that act. A document is not made valid by the letterhead of the firm that prepared it; it is made valid by the notary who witnessed the signature. So we say what we are and what we are not, plainly, and we point you to the notary’s own record if you need it for a compliance file.

Our position on language
Every instrument is drafted in Arabic and English by default, because many receiving authorities require it and because a governing language clause only means something if both texts already say the same thing. An English only document can still be drafted where the receiving party genuinely accepts one, but we say so plainly rather than assume it, and we do not translate loosely after the fact; both languages are written together from the first draft.
What we refuse, and why

A document that misstates the authority behind it
If the recital does not match the memorandum or the resolution it claims, we say so and we do not draft around it.

A scope written to be deliberately vague
An open ended authority is refused by many receiving parties, and drafting one to order does not change that.

Acting for both sides without telling either
We say so upfront, and either both sides agree with full knowledge or we act for one only.

A signing we cannot verify
If we cannot confirm who is actually signing, we do not proceed to the notary regardless of the deadline.

A request for a legal opinion dressed as drafting
Where the real question is whether something is lawful or enforceable, we say the honest answer is a lawyer, not a clause.

Confidentiality, and what happens to your draft after the job
What you send us is read by the people working on your file and nobody else. Once the instrument is notarised and delivered, the working copies are retained only as long as needed to answer a question about that file, not published, and not shared with a third party without your instruction.

Are you a notary?
No. A notary in Dubai is an official who attests to the act of signing, and only a notary can perform that act. We draft the document, check it, arrange the appointment and attend it with you.
Are you a law firm?
No. We draft and arrange. Where a matter needs legal advice, we say so rather than pretend otherwise.
Are you a translation office?
No, though every instrument we draft is written in Arabic and English together. If all you need is an existing document translated with nothing changed, that is a translation office’s job, not ours.
Do you work in Arabic?
Yes, as the default. Every instrument is drafted in Arabic and English together, with terminology fixed across both texts.
Can you handle regular volume?
Yes. Firms that send files every month get one named contact who knows their file, and a fee they can quote to their own clients without asking first.
