Every figure below is published, sourced, and split into two lines: our fee, and the Dubai Courts fee we collect on their behalf and pass on at cost. Nothing here is a starting price that grows on the day.

Two parties set the number you pay. We set our own professional fee, for drafting in both languages, checking the file, and attending the appointment with you. The Dubai Courts set their own fee, for the notarial act itself, and it depends on the instrument. We collect the Courts fee on their behalf and pass it on at cost. Every figure below is one of those two things, never a blend of both, and the tables say which is which.

Other estate work, such as inheritance documentation or a power of attorney for estate administration, is not a single instrument with one published figure. We quote it once we see what is actually needed. See estate and inheritance documents.
The figure people ask us to double check
An MOA has been quoted elsewhere in this market at anywhere from 200 to 300 per signature up to 1,750 for the whole document. The client’s own published figure for a memorandum of association is AED 600. That is the number in the table above, and it is the number we charge.
Why some Courts fees move with the value in the document
Some instruments state a value, a sale price on a transfer, a sum on a power of attorney for a specific transaction, and the Dubai Courts fee for those can move with the figure stated in the document. A flat instrument such as a memorandum of association or an affidavit does not carry that variable, which is why its figure never changes. We will tell you before the appointment which kind yours is, and what that means for the Courts fee.

Fees may vary based on the document’s nature and its requirements, and advocate attestation charges may also vary.
Our fee
Covers drafting in Arabic and English, checking the file against what the receiving authority will accept, establishing who has to attend, and attending the appointment with you. Where a draft already exists, it covers reviewing and repairing it.
The Dubai Courts fee
Set by the Courts, not by us. It depends on the instrument, and for some instruments on the value stated in them. We collect it at the appointment and pass it on at cost, with no margin added.

The two fees are different things
Our fee pays for the work of getting the document right and getting you in front of a notary. The Dubai Courts fee pays for the notarial act itself, the identity check and the witnessing of the signature. One is a professional fee we set. The other is a government fee we only ever pass on.

We identify the reason
At the counter, or beforehand if we catch it first, we find out exactly what is wrong rather than guessing at a fix.

A drafting defect is corrected at no extra charge to our own fee, whoever wrote the original draft.

As soon as the correction is ready, not left for the next slot that happens to be free.

No surprises on the day
What we quote before you commit is what the invoice shows. If something about the document changes after we have quoted it, we tell you before we do the extra work, not after.
Bring everything on the list the first time
The Dubai Courts fee is tied to the appointment. If a missing document means rescheduling, a second appointment can mean paying it a second time. Our own fee does not change because a draft needed another pass, but the Courts fee is not ours to waive.

Every figure on this page is the figure the client has published, reproduced exactly as it stands rather than adjusted by us either way. We have not added a VAT line because none is stated on the source we took these figures from, and we would rather say that plainly than guess at a percentage. Ask when you instruct us and we will set the position out in writing before any work starts, so it is settled before it can become a surprise on the invoice.

Questions about fees
Is the reading really free?
Yes. Send a draft and you will get back which instrument you need, whether it will be accepted, what it costs and who has to attend. There is no charge and no obligation, and you owe us nothing if you take the quote elsewhere.
Is the Dubai Courts fee the same every time for the same instrument?
For a flat instrument such as a memorandum of association or an affidavit, yes. For an instrument that states a value, such as some powers of attorney and transfers, the Courts fee can move with the figure stated in the document itself, which we explain above before you commit.
What if the document is refused at the counter?
We deal with the reason and rebook, and we explain the full process above. What matters here is that a defect that is ours to fix costs you nothing extra on our side of the invoice.
Why is the will so much more than the others?
Because it is the instrument where getting it wrong shows up years later, when it cannot be fixed. The fee reflects establishing which registration route applies to you, not the length of the document.
