What we collect, what we keep, and what we do not do
Written in plain language because the documents you send us are private, and you should be able to see exactly what happens to them without a lawyer.
The controller, and how to reach a person
The controller of the data this website collects is Dubai Notary Services, Empire Heights Tower B, Fountain Street, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For any question about your data, or to ask for it to be deleted, write to info@dubainotaryservices.ae or call +971 55 564 0358 during office hours. A person answers, not a form.
No tracking, no third parties
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Search Console script, no Meta pixel, no heatmap, no session recorder. Nobody is watching where you move on the page.
- No advertising or tracking of any kind. No remarketing tag, no conversion pixel.
- No third party fonts. The typefaces are served from this domain. Loading a font from another company’s server tells that company you visited this page, so the fonts are self hosted instead.
- No embedded map, no embedded video, no social widget, no chat widget. Each of those loads code from somewhere else and reports your visit to it.
- No content delivery network in front of the pages.
These claims are checked on every deployment: the build inspects the published pages for any request to a host other than this one, and a new external request is treated as a defect rather than as a change to be written up afterwards.
One outbound link exists: the WhatsApp button opens wa.me. Nothing is fetched from WhatsApp until you choose to click it.
What is stored on your device
- If you log in to the site, WordPress sets authentication cookies. Only our own staff can log in.
- If you leave a comment, WordPress offers to remember your name and email. There are no comments on this site.
- The caching layer may set a technical cookie in some configurations to decide which cached version to serve. It carries no personal information and identifies no individual.
Nothing else. The cookie policy sets this out in full.
What we ask, and what we deliberately do not
The enquiry form asks for what the document has to achieve, the kind of document if you know it, and an email address. The draft form asks for one file and an email address. The instruction form asks for your name, a phone number if you want a call back, the instrument, the deadline band, and where the document will be used.
We deliberately do not ask for:
- Emirates ID, passport or trade licence numbers. Identity is checked in person at the point of engagement, not through a web form.
- Names of shareholders, directors or beneficiaries. They are not needed to answer your question, and on an estate matter asking for them is intrusive.
- Bank details or payment information. This site takes no payment.
What happens to a document you upload
A draft you send for a reading is stored on this site’s own server, in a private directory that the web server is configured not to serve, under a randomised filename. It is not added to the media library and it is never attached to a public page. The file is readable by our own staff and by nobody else.
It is not emailed anywhere. The notification our office receives says that a draft arrived and where to find it; the document itself does not travel in an email, because email is not a channel we control.
The acknowledgement you receive deliberately does not repeat your enquiry or attach your document back to you. You may have described a confidential transaction, and mailing it back to an address that might be a shared inbox adds risk and no value.
Retention. A draft sent for a reading is deleted 30 days after we reply, unless you instruct us in the meantime, in which case it becomes part of your matter file. An enquiry record is kept for 12 months so we can answer a follow up, then deleted. You may ask for either to be deleted sooner at any time, and we will confirm when it is done.
Documents in a matter we handle for you
Once you instruct us, the documents in your matter are handled in the office and not through this website. Originals are shown to the notary and returned to you at the appointment; nothing stays with us unless you ask us to hold it. Copies we keep in order to do the work are kept for the duration of the matter and for a period afterwards so that we can answer a query from you, a bank or a registry about what was executed. Ask us and we will tell you exactly what we hold for you.
When this page changes
The claims on this page are specific and checkable, which means they can go out of date the moment somebody adds a tracking script or an embedded map.
They are verified on every deployment: the build checks the published pages for requests to any host other than this one, and a new external request is treated as a defect rather than as a change to be written up afterwards.
If that check ever fails, this page is corrected before the change ships, not after.
