What a mobile notary visit is
A mobile notary visit is our in-house notary public travelling to wherever you need to sign, rather than you coming to Business Bay. It suits a company signing at its own office, a signatory who cannot leave a hospital bed, a traveller passing through on a tight schedule, or several people who only have one window to sign together. The notary brings the same checks used in the office: identity, capacity and the document itself read through before anyone signs. A visit is arranged around a time and a place, not around a type of document, so most instruments we notarise at the office can also be signed this way.
Where we come to you
Your office
A boardroom signing for directors, shareholders or staff, arranged around your schedule.
A hospital
For a signatory who cannot travel, with the notary attending the ward or room.
Elsewhere in the UAE
Any other practical location, tell us where and we confirm we can attend.
What we check before a visit
01
The location and access
Where you are, and whether the notary can reach you and park or enter without delay.
02
Every signatory’s identity
Passport or Emirates ID for each person signing, checked in person at the visit.
03
The final document
Read in full before the visit is confirmed, not drafted on arrival.
04
Privacy for the signing
A room or space where the document can be read and signed without interruption.
05
Who else must attend
Witnesses, interpreters or a company representative, arranged before the day.
Getting the scope right
A mobile visit is arranged around a time, a place and a signatory, not a document type. Before we confirm a visit we check the location is workable, that everyone who needs to sign will be there, and that nothing about the document needs resolving first. Tell us the location and who is signing, and we tell you honestly whether a visit is the right fit or whether an online session is simpler.
How a mobile notary visit is arranged

03

04

Collected at the visit, or arranged for delivery.
What it costs
| Service | Fee | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Mobile notary visit | Set by the document, not the visit | Power of attorney from AED 1,500, board resolution AED 2,000, MOA AED 600 |
| Drafting the document | We quote after reading it |
A mobile visit is a way of signing, not a separate instrument. Fees may vary with the document and the location; we confirm the figure before you sign. See all fees.
What to have ready
Passport or Emirates ID for every signatory, the final document, and a quiet room or space where the notary can read it through with you before you sign.
Mobile notary
Mobile notary
We travel to an office, a hospital, a hotel or elsewhere in the UAE. Suits a company, a traveller, or a client who cannot leave a particular place.
Home visit notary
Home visit notary
We come to your residence, for a family signing or an elderly or unwell relative. See home visit notary.

The location decides how the visit runs
An office visit is usually quick, everyone is already there and the room is private. A hospital or hotel visit needs more planning, ward access, visiting hours, or a quiet corner away from a lobby. Tell us the location honestly and we plan the visit around it.
- Confirm access and timing first
- Arrange a private space for the signing
- Tell us about any signatory who cannot sit up or speak clearly
Who attends, and what we check
Every signatory named on the document
A company representative, where a corporate document is signed at an office
Passport or Emirates ID for each person
The final document, read through before signing
A witness, where the document needs one
Access to the location, and a private space to sign
Where a mobile visit does not go ahead
We do not attend a visit where we cannot confirm who is signing, where a signatory is a minor or lacks capacity to sign, where the document is still being drafted, or where the location cannot offer a private, interruption free space to sign. We would rather raise this before the visit than arrive and turn away.
Common problems, and the fix
01
A signatory is not well enough to concentrate
Fix: tell us in advance, we plan the visit for when they are most able.
02
The location has no private space
Fix: arrange a side room or a quieter time, even within a busy office or ward.
03
Not everyone who needs to sign will be there
Fix: confirm every signatory’s attendance before the visit is booked.
04
The document changed after the visit was arranged
Fix: send the final version before the notary travels, not on the day.
After your mobile notary visit
01
You receive the notarised document
On the spot, or arranged for delivery afterwards.
02
You file it with the authority
The bank, free zone, registry or hospital that needs it.
03
We keep a record
The visit and the notarisation are recorded with your file.
04
You keep the original safely
Ask us about certified copies if more than one is needed.
