ONLINE NOTARY PUBLIC, UAE
Online Notary Public Services Dubai
Our in-house notary public checks who you are and witnesses your signature over a live video call, so you do not have to visit our office. Most documents can be notarised this way, wherever you are in the UAE or abroad.
In-house notary public at our Business Bay office. Online and home visit notary services across the UAE.
01
In-house notary public
The same notary who sits in our Business Bay office
02
Identity checked on screen
Passport or Emirates ID, matched against your face
03
Most documents accepted
Powers of attorney, resolutions, MOAs, wills and more
04
A written record of the session
Kept with your file, alongside the notarised document
What an online notary session is
An online notary session is the same notarisation, done over video instead of across a desk. You join a call with our in-house notary public, who checks your identity, goes through the document with you and watches you sign. The notary then completes the notarial record exactly as in the office. It suits a client who is travelling, based outside Dubai, or short on time. It does not suit every document. A document a receiving authority insists on seeing signed on paper, or a signatory whose identity cannot be confirmed on screen, still needs an office or home visit. We tell you which applies before you book.
What you can notarise online
Powers of attorney
A general, property or company power of attorney, signed on screen and checked against your passport.
Board and shareholder resolutions
A resolution signed by directors or shareholders in different places, each on their own call.
Wills and estate documents
Drafted and read through with you before you sign, exactly as in the office.
Affidavits and declarations
A sworn statement, witnessed over video and recorded in the same way.
What we check before an online session
01
Your identity
Passport or Emirates ID, held up to the camera and matched against your face.
02
A stable connection
A clear picture and clear sound, so the notary can see you sign.
03
The final document
Checked in full before the call, not read for the first time on screen.
04
Who else must appear
Every signatory named on the document, each on their own camera.
05
Where you are signing from
A quiet, private place, not a public space.
Getting the scope right
Online notary is not a shortcut around identity checks, it moves them onto a screen. If the notary cannot confirm who you are, cannot see you sign clearly, or the document is one a receiving authority insists on seeing signed in person, the session stops there. Tell us about the document and where you will be, and we tell you honestly whether an online session fits or whether you need the office or a home visit.

What it costs
| Service | Fee | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Online notary session | Set by the document, not the channel | Power of attorney from AED 1,500, board resolution AED 2,000, MOA AED 600 |
| Drafting the document | We quote after reading it |
An online session is a way of signing, not a separate instrument. Fees may vary with the document; we confirm the figure before you sign. See all fees.
What to have ready
Your passport or Emirates ID, the final document, a device with a camera and microphone, and a quiet place to sign where no one else can see the screen.
Online
Online notary
Sign from wherever you are, over a video call with our in-house notary public. Suits a client who is travelling, based outside Dubai, or short on time.
In person
At our Business Bay office
Sign in front of the notary at our office. Suits a document an authority wants to see signed on paper, or a signatory not comfortable on screen.

Whether it is accepted depends on who receives it
Most banks, free zones and authorities in the UAE accept a document notarised online the same way as one signed in the office. Some, and some receiving parties abroad, still ask for an original signature in person. We ask who the document is going to before you book, so you do not sign online and then have to repeat it in person.
- Check the receiving authority first
- A document for use abroad may need extra legalisation
- We tell you before the session, not after
Who joins the call, and what we check
Every signatory named on the document
A witness, where the document needs one
Passport or Emirates ID for each person
A clear view of your face and your signature
The final document, read in full before you sign
Where you are signing from
Where an online session does not go ahead
We stop an online session, and ask you to come to the office or book a home visit, when we cannot confirm who you are on screen, when the connection is too poor to see you sign, when a signatory is a minor or lacks capacity to sign, or when the document is one the receiving authority insists on seeing signed in person. We tell you this before you book where we can, not during the call.
Common problems, and the fix
01
The video or audio keeps dropping
Fix: reschedule for a stronger connection, or book an office visit instead.
02
The document was not final when the call started
Fix: send the final version in advance, we read it before the session.
03
An authority wants an original signature in person
Fix: tell us who the document is for before you book, and we advise the right channel.
04
A signatory could not attend
Fix: everyone named on the document needs their own camera, book each person’s slot.
After your online session
01
You receive the notarised document
As a digital copy, by email, with delivery available on request.
02
You file it with the authority
The bank, free zone or registry that needs it.
03
We keep a record
The session and the notarisation are recorded with your file.
04
You keep the original
Where a hard copy is needed later, ask us about delivery.

If the receiving authority wants you in person
Some documents still need a signature witnessed face to face. We can usually move a booking from an online session to our office or to a home visit without starting again.

Book your online session. We tell you honestly if it will not work for your document.
Documents we notarise are presented to authorities, free zones and banks across the UAE.

Questions about online notary
Is an online notarisation as valid as one in the office?
Yes, for most documents. The notarial act is the same, only the channel changes.
What do I need for the call?
A device with a camera and microphone, your passport or Emirates ID, and a quiet private place.
Can every signatory join from a different place?
Yes, each person joins their own session, and we coordinate the timing between them.
What if my identity cannot be confirmed on screen?
We stop the session and arrange an office or home visit instead.
Does an online notarisation cost more than an office visit?
No. The fee is set by the document, not the channel.
Can a document notarised online be used abroad?
Often yes, though some countries ask for extra legalisation first. Tell us where it is going.
