DOCUMENT TRANSLATION, UAE
Document Translation in Dubai
When a document is not already in Arabic or English, it usually needs a certified translation before it can be notarised or accepted by an authority. We arrange this as part of preparing your file, and check the finished translation against the original before anything is notarised.
In-house notary public at our Business Bay office. Online and home visit notary services across the UAE.
01

We coordinate the certified translation before anything is notarised
02

The cost depends on the document’s length and language
When a translation is needed first
A document issued abroad, or written in a language other than Arabic or English, usually cannot be notarised or accepted by a UAE authority as it stands. It needs a certified translation first, carried out by a certified translator, so the receiving authority can read it and rely on it. We are not the translator. What we do is arrange a certified translation as part of preparing your file, and check the finished translation is complete and consistent with the original before we notarise anything or send the file onward. Get this step wrong, a missing page, a misspelled name, and the document can be rejected much later, so we check it early.
When this comes up
A foreign personal document
A birth, marriage or degree certificate issued outside the UAE, in another language.
A foreign company document
Incorporation papers or a contract from abroad, needed for use in the UAE.
A UAE document for use abroad
Translated into the language the receiving country needs.
A bilingual document that must match
An English and Arabic version of the same document, checked side by side.
What we check in the finished translation
01
It is certified
Stamped and signed by a recognised legal translator, not a plain translation.
02
It is complete
Every page and every clause, nothing summarised or left out.
03
Names, dates and figures match
Spelled and formatted consistently with the original document.
04
The format mirrors the original
So the two can be read side by side without confusion.
05
It fits what the authority asked for
The right language, and the right form of certification.
Getting the scope right
Translation and notarisation are two different steps done by two different people. A certified translator makes the text acceptable to the authority that will receive it. Our in-house notary public confirms who is signing and witnesses the signature. We sit across both, arranging the translation as part of your file and checking it is accurate and complete before we ever notarise the document.
How we handle a document that needs translation
01
Send us the document
By WhatsApp or online, with the language it needs to end up in.
02
We confirm what is needed
Whether a certified translation is required, and in which language.
03
The translation is arranged
As part of preparing your file, by a certified translator.
04
We check it against the original
Before anything is notarised or sent onward.
05
We notarise the document
At our Business Bay office, online or at your home.
What it costs
| Service | Fee | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Coordinating a certified translation | We quote after reading the document | Depends on length and language |
| Checking a translation against the original | We quote after reading the document | |
| Notarising the finished document | Set by the document, not the translation | See all fees |
Fees may vary with the document; we confirm the figure before you sign.
What to send us
The original document, any translation you already have, and the authority or purpose it is for, so we know which language and certification it needs.
Certified translation
Certified translation
Makes the text acceptable to the authority that will receive it. Carried out by a certified translator.
Notarisation
Notarisation
Confirms who is signing and witnesses the signature. Carried out by our in-house notary public.

Why the check matters more than the stamp
A translation can carry the right stamp and still be wrong, a misspelled name, a missing clause, a date transposed. We read the translation against the original before we notarise anything, because an error here can mean a document is rejected by the authority much later, after it has already been signed.
- A stamp alone is not enough
- Names and figures are checked line by line
- Nothing is notarised until the two versions agree
Who is involved, and what we check
You, as the owner of the document
A certified translator, for the translation itself
Our in-house notary public, for the notarisation
That the translation is certified and complete
That names, dates and figures match the original
The authority or country the document is going to
Where this stalls
We do not notarise a document where the translation is not certified, where it does not match the original, or where pages are missing. Some documents also need an earlier step, such as attestation in the country of origin, before a translation makes sense at all. We flag this before you pay for a translation that cannot be used yet.
Common problems, and the fix
01
The translation has no certification stamp
Fix: it is re-done by a certified translator before we notarise anything.
02
A name is spelled differently to the original
Fix: corrected and checked against the passport or original document.
03
The document needed attestation first
Fix: that step is completed before the translation is relied on.
04
The two language versions disagree
Fix: both texts are corrected together before signing.
After translation and notarisation
01
The document is notarised
At our Business Bay office, online or at your home.
02
You file it with the authority
The bank, free zone, registry or authority that asked for it.
03
You keep both versions together
The original, the certified translation and the notarised copy.
04
Further legalisation, if needed
Some uses abroad need an extra step after notarisation, we advise if so.

If the document is a contract or a notice
A foreign language contract or a bilingual legal notice often needs the same check, that both versions say the same thing before anyone signs.

Send your document. We confirm whether a translation is needed first.
Documents we notarise are presented to authorities, free zones and banks across the UAE.

Questions about document translation
Do you translate the document yourselves?
No. We arrange a certified translation as part of preparing your file, carried out by a certified translator, and we check it against the original before anything is notarised.
Which language does my document need?
It depends on the authority receiving it. Tell us where the document is going and we confirm.
How long does a certified translation take?
It depends on the length and language. Send it over and we quote after reading it.
I already have a translation, can you just notarise it?
Yes, we check it is certified and matches the original first.
Does translation cost extra on top of notarisation?
Yes, they are separate steps. We quote the translation after reading the document.
Is a certified translation enough on its own?
Sometimes, but many authorities also want the document notarised. Tell us the purpose and we confirm.
